Vincent Jones, Jr.
Vincent Jones Jr. currently serves as the Pastor of Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church in Knoxville, TN. Vincent is also a licensed realtor for Wallace Real Estate Company and is engaged in several community organizations. Pastor Jones serves on the African American Equity Restoration Task Force that aims to improve areas of disparity and disenfranchisement in the Black community by working with existing community agencies, and developing policy, programs, and recommendations that will establish opportunities for generational wealth building in the Black community. Pastor Jones served as a member of the Old Fourth Ward Business Association in the Sweet Auburn community of Atlanta for several years prior to returning to Knoxville.
Brittney Arriola
Brittney Arriola has been in the banking industry for 16 years, with a decade of that time spent in leadership roles. Originally from California, she relocated with her family to Knoxville, TN, in 2023 to embrace a slower-paced lifestyle. Since moving to Knoxville, she has become more engaged in her community and church. Her partnership with the East Knoxville Business and Professional Association (EKBPA) has had a significant impact on her professional career, while also allowing her to build meaningful personal connections. Brittney enjoys serving her church on Wednesday nights, where she leads a small group of 9th-grade girls. In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband and their two fur babies.
Kyle Nelson
Kyle Nelson is the Director of Chilhowee Park & Exposition Center, where he oversees programming, facility operations, and event services for the historic East Knoxville park. Originally from Apple Valley, Minnesota, Nelson holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering science from the University of Michigan-Flint. After a career in automotive engineering, he transitioned to event management, overseeing thousands of events annually across North America. In 2021, he joined Chilhowee Park as Event Manager, bringing extensive experience in event planning, sales, and management. Nelson, his wife Kelly, and their daughter Jenna now call Knoxville home, while his son Nicholas resides in Phoenix. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, running—having completed 17 marathons—and spending time with family, including his four grand pups.
Carly Hammonds
Carly Hammonds is the Director of Education and Youth Services for the Knoxville Area Urban League, where she advocates for youth development and empowerment. A proud alumna of Fulton High School and Spelman College, Carly holds a B.S. in International Studies with a concentration in Cultural Development and a minor in Religious Studies. With expertise in nonprofit logistics, she implements impactful programs that have earned her national recognition, including the Eddie L. Moore Caring Adult of the Year award from the National Urban League. An active member of Delta Sigma Theta’s Knoxville Alumnae Chapter, Carly balances her professional role with a commitment to service, personal growth, and self-care. She is currently part of the University of Tennessee’s Consortium for Social Enterprise Effectiveness and aspires to expand KAUL’s reach to support more families. Carly’s leadership is driven by her passion for providing youth with access to resources, mentors, and opportunities to achieve their dreams.
